About the Item

Antique wooden banker's desk with large writing surface. We find it mind-boggling that this piece doesn't have a manufacturer's tag, because we want to shake the hand of whoever made it. This slightly imposing desk features two sets of drawers on either side of the kneehole. Each drawer features a carved knob pull, slightly recessed from the concave outer ring. Despite minimal ornamentation, this piece boasts some ribbed linework across the backsplash and four columns carved from body of the desk. Planning on using this desk in an occupational setting? Not to worry, the customer-facing side includes gorgeous wood paneling and the same columns and linework as the front.
