Dieses exquisite Kabinettmöbel stammt aus der kunsthistorisch spannenden Übergangszeit zwischen dem verspielten Rokoko und dem frühen Neoklassizismus. Die elegante Poudreuse verbindet die geschwungenen Linien des Louis XV mit der Symmetrie des Louis XVI und ist meisterhaft mit feiner Marketerie aus Palisander, Veilchenholz und hellen Einlegehölzern verziert. Die drei Deckel zeigen aufwendige florale Intarsien und eine zentrale Trophée-Darstellung mit Musikinstrumenten – ein Motiv, das auf den Pariser Ébénisten Léonard Boudin (Meister 1761) verweist. Der raffinierte Klappmechanismus öffnet zu einem Spiegel und drei mit hellblauem Stoff ausgeschlagenen Fächern. Zustand: Hervorragend erhaltener Originalzustand mit schöner Patina; minimale altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren und feine Furnierrisse, wie bei authentischen Möbeln des 18. Jahrhunderts üblich. Vergleichsstücke und Museen: Werke von Léonard Boudin und verwandten Pariser Ébénisten finden sich heute in bedeutenden Sammlungen, darunter: Musée du Louvre, Paris Musée Carnavalet, Paris Château de Champs-sur-Marne Musée de l’Hôtel Sandelin, Saint-Omer Cleveland Museum of Art, USA
