About the Item

Absolutely incredible George III Revival partners desk of serpentine form This is based on the original as found in Althorp House - the ancestral home of the Spencer family, the late Princess Diana's family in England Such a grand desk and is a true partners with drawers and cupboards on both sides The desk has been crafted from flame mahogany with a rich patina The desk also features a gilt casting of the Althorp Crest and is found on the inside of one of the drawers we have included a close up photo Big desk so great for a home office set up The top is covered with gilt embossed tooled brown leather The drawers to the sides are faux drawers, ie they do not open The desk was purchased from a private collection of a London Kensington residence Offered in great shape ready for home use right away
