A special-order cherrywood and brass desk designed and produced by Jacques Quinet, c. 1960.
Provenance: Executive office, Marseille
Heavy patina brass handles and keyhole plates. Heavy wear throughout with several chips, scratches, faded, and broken veneer panels. Moderate imperfections and stain on tabletop surface.
No key included to lock the two top drawers, but they do close securely while unlocked.
One drawer has handle blocking keyhole access.
The block on right side slides from front to back of desk.
