About the Item

Group of furniture made to order in 1947 by Ove Lander, Bredgade, Palae, Copenhagen Denmark and a third piece made in 1957 to match the originals pieces. For the avoidance of doubt, this listing is for one desk and sideboards with two shelving above. Three pieces in total. Freestanding walnut desk, top with raised edges; “shoes” and handles of hardwood. Front with two pull out leaves and tambour doors, each covering four trays. Reverse with large pull out leaf, storage and two cabinets. With maker's paper label. H. 78 cm. L. 170 cm. D. 84 cm. Walnut sideboard with attached bookcase with adjustable shelves, “shoes” and handles of hardwood. Front with two tambour doors, interior with 25 trays. With maker's paper label. H. 211 cm. L. 170 cm. D. 50 cm. Nutwood storage unit with adjustable shelves, base with 25 small drawers. Legs with “shoes” of ebonized wood. Made to order 1957, presumably by cabinetmaker Ove Lander. H. 211 cm.
