This desk was made by the well renowned company ''maple and co''
Circa 1880
The desk is raised upon tapered legs with original brass castors.
Having an arrangement of 9 oak lined drawers.
The desk retains its original brass swan neck handles and locks.
The superstructure comprising of 4 small oak lined drawers and a brass gallery.
The green leather writing surface (replacement) having hand applied gilt and blind tooling.
The front, back and sides of the desk featuring satinwood crossbanding and boxwood line inlays.
