About the Item

A beautiful and elegant centerpiece writing desk, featuring high-quality venereed walnut and brown walnut, and embellished with lost-wax bronze decorations. The writing desk is distinguished by its lyre-shaped legs, joined by turned parts and decorated with gilded bronze floral details. The legs end in gilded bronze feline paws, equipped with casters for easy movement. The top features an inlaid band and a finely chiseled gilded bronze balustrade, further enhancing its elegance. The lower section features three drawers with gilded bronze handles: two medium-sized ones and one unique, smaller one, positioned near the right corner, designed for pens and inkwells. This writing desk exudes great taste and refinement, capable of furnishing any space with class and elegance. Italian craftsmanship, reminiscent of the neoclassical style of French cabinetmakers during the Napoleon III era, around the mid-19th century. Dimensions: H x W x D 75 x 122 x 75cm
