About the Item

Iconic mid-century flip top desk designed by Peter Løvig. Tall and stately with a large surface area made from teak wood. The front is aligned with four smooth sliding small drawers. Each drawer features the circular cutout with horizontal teak drawer pulls. The second tier has cubby sections and dividers for extra storage. Attached to brass hinges that allow it to be flipped for larger surface area work space. Around the back of the desk are three open cubby compartments. When the desk is flipped open, the cubbies become concealed. The back compartments are perfect for staging with smalls. Sitting atop tall rectangular teak legs that are streamlined in classic Danish fashion. The long legs allow the piece to breathe and balance out the massive scale of the desk. A wonderful piece for both collectors and those looking to mix and match decor. Gorgeous design often sought after by mid-century enthusiasts. In overall fantastic vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. Dimensions: 64” W x 29.5” D x 28.75” H Expanded Dimensions: 64” W x 38.5” D x 28.75” H
