About the Item

Made of solid oak and finished with a light stain, this beautiful writing desk has a narrow depth that maximizes storage without sacrificing floor space. Unlike many writing desks, the slanted, top face of this desk folds up rather than down. This enables the user to reach the nine small drawers inside more easily and serves as an ideal writing area on top of the desk. Three full length drawers under the slanted face provide additional storage. Carvings on the desk include bead work around the keyholes and border of the face of the desk, small flowers on the drawers, and repetitive oval and circular patterns. The desk is raised on fluted legs.
