Outstanding quality large antique carved figured mahogany serpentine shaped partners desk having a three section brown leather top crossbanded in mahogany with an outstanding quality carved edge, five short and two double serpentine shaped mahogany cross banded oak lined drawers with original brass handles to each side, figured mahogany serpentine shaped ends, incredible quality carved mahogany corners with lions heads and bells standing on carved paw feet
A spectacular piece displaying remarkable quality and first class craftsmanship. Although not displaying a maker's mark it was most certainly crafted by a leading cabinet maker as a showcase piece.
