About the Item
Extremely Rare and Monumental 1970s Floating Walnut
Lucite Executive Desk in the style of Vladimir Kagan.
Beautiful solid walnut bullnose edging, two smaller drawers on the left side with internal organizing elements for smaller items on top drawer and one large file cabinet on the right side. Very deep drawers with beautiful recessed steel pulls can store a large amount of materials and documents. There is more storage in the foot area of the desk where a large amount of books can be inconspicuously kept.
Desk is in really nice vintage condition with some signs of use commensurate with its age. There is a nice patina throughout with some small scattered superficial scratches and scuffs. The lucite base is nice and clean, free from any major fogging.
A monumental piece guaranteed to be the counterpoint of even the most discerning of mid century offices.
