About the Item
A fabulous burr walnut 1930s Art Deco 9 drawer desk. Veneered in the most beautiful burr walnut to the drawer fronts with very pale contrasting straight grain walnut for the pedestals and back. Original leather skive in stunning emerald green - just like The Wizard of Oz! The top 3 drawers all have their original fully working brass locks with the original key included. All drawers are hardwood construction and fully dove tailed and run smoothly. All the handles are in excellent condition in stunning chrome smooth and tactile to the touch and totally original. The whole raised on stepped plinth veneered in slightly darker walnut. A truly stunning example.Having passed through our workshops and been traditionally French polished this is provided in excellent condition.
