Victorian mahogany partners desk. Circa 1860 This wonderful desk stands upon a plinth base. We can ship to anywhere in the world - including the US - so please get in touch for shipping quotes or any other questions Handsome piece of mid-Victorian period furniture Featuring an arrangement of 9 mahogany lined graduated drawers which retain their original brass handles. The reverse of the desk having cupboards with interior shelves. The top of the desk having a fitted green leather writing surface (replacement) with hand applied gilt and blind tooling. Bought from a private residence in London's Knightsbridge An antique partners desk is a large, double-sided desk designed for two people to work simultaneously, featuring drawers and compartments, typically crafted from fine woods with ornate detailing.
