This Davenport is of a rather unusual construction
Period 19th Century
Having an arrangement of 6 oak lined graduated drawers to the front which retain their original turned knobs
The drawers are locked by a locking mechanism to the right hand side The sloping writing surface slides forward to reveal a fitted interior comprising of pigeon holes and drawers
To the right hand side of the top is a pullout pen tray
