About the Item

18th century Georgian oak dresser base circa 1750. Good quality English oak dresser base. 2 plank top with moulded edge, fitted with 3 deep drawers below the top surface, complete with brass hardware, which would have been a 19th century alteration.  Standing on 6 turned legs, with the side legs being supported by a low stretcher.  Good colour and patina. Ideal piece for the hallway or country kitchen. Evidence on the back edge where the rack would have been.  Expected surface marks and age splits in line with age and use.  Ready for the home and everyday use.
