We present this elegant antique Italian dresser dating back to the second half of the 18th century, Louis XVI period. An extremely refined dresser, whose characteristics suggest that it was made in the cabinet-making workshops of northern Italy.
Made of fine solid light walnut wood and featuring an elegant inlay decoration in the wood that embellishes each side of the dresser. The decoration is clearly classic and geometric in taste, which personalises the dresser without weighing it down excessively. When purchasing chests of drawers of this high value, it is necessary to consider the high quality of the cabinet-making work. Each small inlay has been meticulously crafted by hand using wood essences of different colours to achieve the refined decoration present!
Its extremely linear shape perfectly reflects the taste of the historical era that wanted to achieve perfection with extreme elegance and refinement, privileging the details.
