A Louis XV commode “Provençal” of exceptional quality in honey-colored walnut, circa 1760, with nicely carved and paneled case, bombe sides, period brass pulls and escutcheons, on cabriole legs and escargot feet. Purchased in 2001 from French antiques dealer Jean Rey. Working locks with original key.
