About the Item
American Chippendale mahogany chest on chest, circa 1800. The pediment with dental style inlay, below are two top drawers and 3 lower drawers all with cock beaded molding, the bottom section with 3 drawers withi cock beaded molding, single board upper and lower sides, resting on a molded base with bracket feet. Very nicely figured mahogany. Hand dove tailed drawer construction.
