About the Item

This minature table top sized chest of drawers is unsigned, but presumed to have originated from the United States and date to approximately 1880 and done in a Colonial style. This nicely exectued four drawer miniature tall boy is done with solid walnut with some pine secondary wood and brass lock plates. The drawers are done with dove tailed construction on both the front and back panels and each drawer has a metal lock with a brass front plate. The turned knobs are done in walnut and accent the light stained drawer fronts. Please note there is no key.
