About the Item

A simple midcentury cabinet with curved corners reminiscent of Art Deco forms is re-imagined by decorative painter Dean Barger, who adapted a Sonia Delaunay painting, wrapping the piece in the cool gray tones of a undulating and geometric pattern. Whimsical. Pulls are original to the piece re-finished in a dark bronze patina. This piece is a prototype. It has been used as a showroom sample. Custom commissions in this style of furniture are possible and welcome.
