Therefore, if you ever want to redecorate or move, this chest will work with you! This newly made rustic chest of drawers features a number of examples of its high quality construction. Perhaps most telling of the high quality level of construction are the dovetailed drawer joints. Dovetails are the strongest way to join a drawer. These drawers feature dovetailed joints in all four corners (not just the front two as many new chests do). Also, reinforced drawer bottoms ensure no matter how full you stuff the drawers, the bottoms will remain intact. Finally, each of the three drawers opens and closes smoothly even when only using one hand to operate them. Also, each drawer features antiqued brass drawer pulls. Visually, this dresser exudes rustic charm. The wood used is pecan which has been light distressed and finished a lovely medium brown color. Carved reliefs above each drawer and on each drawer front provide extra appeal. The sides, feet, and bottom apron are all fluted. Meanwhile a beautiful carving anchors the center of the bottom apron. A pale green paint has been used to accent the carvings and flutings to a wonderful effect! Finally, the bow fronted shape finishes off the look perfectly!
