About the Item

c. 1900s Antique wooden ship dresser stand. This unique piece was once a common sight on period passenger ships and trains. Manufactured to be an all-in-one design, it features both storage and vanity functions. A small cabinet with shelving at the top boasts a mirrored front with a series of three cubbies below. Below this is a small, copper basin sink with plumbing and and a faucet with a central knob and two soapdishes; a small vessel is stored below the sink, which is able to be removed to refill water. Rounding out this piece is a lower, open-back cabinet, with latched double doors. There are holes located on cabinet so that it can be secured to a wall.
