About the Item

An exceptional architectural build. Designed by Piet Hein and retailed exclusively for Daniel Jones, NYC. This c. 1960 nine drawer dresser has been newly ebonized. The base is set on a sculpted architectural base. Behind the left and right facing doors, there are three interior drawers. The center of the cabinet has three large drawers. Stately lines and curves are amplified by the rich ebony color and contrasting brass handles and detailing to make this cabinet a truly exceptional, eye-catching, one of a kind piece. SKU: AM00043-RL ---Dimensions--- Width: 80 in / 203.2 cm Depth: 19.5 in / 49.53 cm Height: 34 in / 86.36 cm Condition Details: This exquisite dresser has recently undergone a complete, transformative restoration. The walnut composition has recently been sanded and ebonized and we love the results. The original brass accents and handles show only minor signs of tarnishing but retain the original design of the piece. All nine drawers open and close with ease and create more than ample storage. This piece is devoid of any scratches, gouges or stains whatsoever and save for the tarnishing on the handles - is in showroom condition. This luxurious case piece is highly functional, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use. Please view all photos for details on this dresser's current condition.
