About the Item

A fine example of a late 18th or early 19th century English carved oak dresser base with two fitted drawers with original brasses, and decorative scallop carved skirt, all supported by five legs (the three front carved with minimal decoration) and simple stretchers. Very good overall condition, with great original surface, some shrinkage, minor losses, and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 29.75 in H x 52.75 in W x 15.5 in D. Ref: 8
