About the Item
Italian chest of drawers in walnut burl and Solid walnut, handcrafted in 1980 in the 17th-century Lombard style, with four wide, deep drawers defined by ebonized, projecting frames. The ebonized frames are a motif that also adorns the sides with a box that frames the briar part differentiating it from the outer slabled part. The corners of this impressive chest of drawers are notched, drawers are defined by bronze handles. The onion feet are ebonized. The dresser was handcrafted around 1980 in northern Italy and is in excellent condition.
It comes from a private Milanese collection.
