About the Item
Henredon long low modernist chest of six drawers, three by three, each face of which has been decoratively incised with a pattern of flower and embellished with solid brass ribbon motif, circa 1959.
Reminiscent of furniture designed by Max Keuhne for the Whitney family. Also seems inspired by Japanese Isho-Dansu chests.
Top right drawer fitted with removable dividers and vide poche.
Very clean inside and out. Patination to brass. Ebonized walnut finish beautifully restored. Ready to place.
Unmarked but matching nightstand is labeled Henredon. Similar to a design by Adolf Loos.

I believe these were inspired by Japanese Isho-Dansu chests.
Very clean inside and out. Patination to brass. Ebonized finish beautifully restored. Ready to place.
