About the Item

A six drawer chest by Paul Laszlo for Brown Saltman. Oak veneer with 100’s of individual tiles laid in an an interwoven basket weave pattern. Great texture and warmth. This exceedingly rare cabinet has been recently refinished. The cabinet floats on solid plinth legs with winged accents lends it a French flair reminiscent Charlotte perriand. This cabinet would work well with pieces by Edward Wormley and Harvey Probber. Dimensions: 62” W x 18.5” D x 33.25”H Condition: Full lacquer refinish. Some filler and grain paint used in the front corner of one of the wing tips of the base. A great repair and indiscernible. All drawers slide well. Ready to go another 50 years.
