Restored Art Deco era rattan chest of drawers with a mahogany top and seven pull-out mahogany fronted drawers. The petite chest is a perfect blend of functionality and Pacific Island/Hawaiian-inspired Modernist aesthetics. Made in 1930, it features a stacked rattan design with a mahogany top and an attached round mirror. The chest has been meticulously refinished to preserve the natural honey-colored patina. Perfect for creating a warm, elevated tropical-inspired living space. In the style of Paul T. Frankl.
Every piece we offer is carefully restored by experts—structurally tightened, rewrapped where needed, and finished with a long-lasting protective coat. With nearly 100 years of combined rattan knowledge, we ensure each item is both visually stunning and built for decades of continued enjoyment.
We can make new Cushions. (The cushions shown may be available—please ask.) COM is welcome; simply send your fabric and our upholsterer will create fresh, perfectly fitted cushions. Production time is approximately two weeks.
Our high-resolution photos accurately show the flawless workmanship and timeless coastal character of each restored rattan piece. Vintage rattan is known for lasting 60–100 years, and our refinishing process prepares it to last another 75.
