Inspired by the mysteries of the cosmos, the stunning design of Rhea is a fusion of primal and modern aesthetics.
Via proprietary technique of mixing steel and brass solids, the metal’s color seems to emanate from an engraving, with alternating dark and light shades that create a captivating visual effects. Through the precision honing of the various surfaces, the result is a rich multilayered look and a stunning faceted finish that adds depth and character to any living space. Like the Callisto dining table, Rhea is a true work of art that seamlessly blends functionality and aesthetics.
Rhea dresser was part of Be Yourself to Shine. The exhibition, set in an 18th-century palace in the heart of Turin, merges historic architecture with contemporary design, creating a unique sensory journey. It showcases one-of-a-kind pieces and installations resulting from collaborations with young Italian artists and designers, exploring the relationship between art, materials, and emotion. Each work is conceived to integrate with the spaces, generating a dialogue between the past and the present. The exhibition also offers a reflection on the boundary between art and design, with pieces that transform everyday objects into artistic and sensory experiences.
