About the Item

Rare, complete set of ten (10) authentic vintage gold-toned metal “X” drawer pulls, removed from a Paul Frankl dresser produced by the Johnson Furniture Company, circa 1950s. Measurements (each) Width: 2.25 in Height: 1.5 in Depth: 0.75 in Each pull was manufactured by the Keeler Brass Company and is stamped KB CO / K 7389 on the reverse, as shown in the photographs. This marking is a critical verification detail for collectors and restorers seeking original, period-correct Frankl hardware. The pulls retain their original, unpolished gold-toned finish. Surface wear, soft edge rubbing, and localized darkening are present and consistent across the set, reflecting more than 70 years of use. No evidence of polishing, refinishing, or later alteration. The finish reads warm and architectural, with a depth and patina that cannot be replicated by contemporary reproductions. All ten pulls match cleanly in form, finish, and color. Threads are intact, structure is solid, and the set presents uniformly—ideal for restoration of Frankl’s Emissary series, as well as for high-level custom cabinetry or interior installations where authenticity matters. Complete, documented sets of this size and provenance are increasingly scarce.
