About the Item

A small Welsh early-18th century oak sideboard, of good rich colour and patination. With three fielded, panelled and chamfered central working drawers, flanked by double fielded panelled doors. Attractive and versatile for use in a hallway, for example, as a sideboard. This Georgian (early George II period) sideboard is also available to purchase with a rack, please see - boxhouse small-oak welsh dresser rack ca 1730. The combination of working drawers and cupboards in the base are most useful to store cutlery, crockery, table linen etc. May also be used as a serving table, or hall table.
