About the Item
This vintage bar cabinet, with its clean, straight lines and balanced proportions, has a beautiful architectural look.
Raised on slender metal legs, it is crafted from rich, warm wood with an interior featuring a beautiful light wood finish, complemented by a black back and a white floor. Very colorful in that sense. The shelves are made of glass.
The door is supported with a delicate brass chain and when the fall-front is open, an integrated light illuminates the cabinet’s interior, enhancing both function and atmosphere. Details that adds quality to the cabinet.
The cabinet is likely of French origin, but the designer and manufacturer are unknown. It is in the style of, and sometimes attributed to, Alain Richard, a French modernist designer from the mid-20th century.
