About the Item
A fine antique Georgian Regency flame mahogany wine cellarette or cooler, circa 1820.
The sacophagus shaped cellarette having a band of carved eplipital decoration to the top and a gadrooned edge to the hinged lid, the slanted paneled base is raised on a plinth base with corresponding gadrooning and the original brass casters.
To the inside is the original galvanized zinc liner, the liner has six sections for wine decanters or bottles, the liner is removeable with the original metal handles. More often than not it is rare to find an antique cellarette with the original liner. Condition is very good, this wonderful antique Georgian cellarette is ready to store your favorite wine or liquor.

A fine antique George III dome top flame mahogany wine cellarette cabinet circa 1780.
The cellarette having a dome top hinged locking lid (key present) enclosing storage for 12 bottles, to the base is a pair of locking doors enclosing a storage area. The front of the cellarette has a kite shaped boxwood escutcheon, to the sides are a pair of original brass carrying handles, the cellarette is raised on the original metal castors.
