About the Item

Striking Art Deco bar façade dating from circa 1930, originating from France. This exceptional piece features an elegant undulating (curved) front, crafted in solid wood and topped with its original zinc countertop, a material traditionally used in French cafés and brasseries. The façade is articulated with finely paneled sections following the rhythmic curve of the bar, creating a strong architectural presence and excellent visual flow. The warm wood tones display a beautiful natural patina, while the zinc top shows authentic wear and surface markings consistent with decades of use, adding to the character and authenticity of the piece. Originally designed for a prestigious café or brasserie, this bar front is ideal for reuse in a restaurant, hotel, cocktail bar, private club, or luxury residential project. Its generous proportions and sculptural form make it a true statement element. A rare and highly decorative example of French Art Deco commercial design.
