Elegant chest of drawers from the renowned Saratoga line, an iconic collection of modern furniture designed in the 1960s by designers Massimo and Lella Vignelli for Poltronova; this line represents one of the earliest demonstrations of modular and sectional furniture. The glossy black lacquer finish perfectly embodies the spirit of Italian modernism, clean lines, functionality and refined aesthetics. Saratoga's line of innovative designs and excellent craftsmanship have made these pieces highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts. This design element features 2 drawers, the upper one is normally storage, while the lower one is a basket container divided into two compartments, dedicated to hold bottles. In very good condition with slight signs of wear consistent with age. The chest of drawers has been restored.
