About the Item

Introducing a rare Danish-made dry bar designed by the incomparable Knud Bent for Dyrlund. This sculptural and highly functional dry bar, is a refined example of Danish craftsmanship at its finest. Constructed from a mix of solid and veneered Burmese teak replete with outstanding variegated woodgrains throughout, the piece blends sleek Mid-Century aesthetics with practical features, making it an ideal centerpiece for entertaining in any living or office space. The upper section offers a well-organized layout with open shelving for glassware and bottles, along with integrated storage for smaller accessories. Below, a series of round bottle holders add a sculptural touch and ensure easy access to your favorite spirits. The lockable cabinet underneath provides concealed storage, balancing the openness of the design with subtle privacy and security. The slim, open frame gives the piece a light and elegant presence, while the high-quality teak and newly installed genuine leather hide top adds a sense of warmth and luxury. Every detail—from the finely joined edges to the smart compartmentalization—reflects Dyrlund’s dedication to excellence in design and finish and is as functional and versatile as it is aesthetically breathtaking. Newly restored, customized with a leather hide top and incredibly versatile this ingeniously designed dry bar is the epitome 'functional art'. Perfect for collectors and designers alike searching for the perfect Danish-Modern dry bar that is ready for a literal lifetime more of use. With so few of these bars available for sale in North America, and fewer still in such excellent restored condition - when this bar's gone, it's gone forever. Make it yours today. ---Dimensions--- Width: 49 in / 124.46 cm Depth: 19 in / 48.26 cm Height: 47.5 in / 120.65 cm This rare dry bar has recently undergone a comprehensive and transformative restoration process and we love the results! The mix of solid and veneered Burmese teak frame, trim and legs have been hand sanded and refinished bringing the teak back to it's original luster. With that said some veneer repairs can be seen in the detail photos provided as well as some lingering nicks and scratches as well as a small stain located on the inside of the bottom storage cabinet (all shown in the detail photos provided). One sliding glass door is missing. One or both can be cut at cost. If this option interests you please message us prior to checkout. All four mini-drawers open and close with ease as do the sliding doors, single glass mini-door and drop down ice-bucket container. The lock is functional and includes the original key. The newly upholstered leather top shows no wear aside from that of a once living animal (ranch brands, scars, etc.). The two inner shelves are adjustable for a convenient customizable storage configuration. The brass drop-down arm for the ice bucket and metal foot rail show only minor tarnishing and surface scratches. This versatile dry bar in ultra-functional, structurally sound and ready for a literal lifetime more of use thanks to it's recent restoration process. Please view all photos and natural light video for details on this incredible bar's current condition. We're limited on the amount of media we can post so additional photos and videos are available upon request.
