About the Item
Skillfully handcrafted from Bamboo, Rattan and Reed, this is a great dry bar with a timeless design and a natural look and feel!
Hailing from Italy in the 1950's, and attributed to the award-winning Designer Tito Agnoli, this Tiki bar was most likely made by Bonacina who have been creating Rattan furniture since 1889.
This bar is in great condition with only small signs of its age and use and features both a foot and an arm rail on the guest facing side, along with two delicately designed bentwood patterns in red.
The bar is fitted with two shelves on the inside and a wicker work inlay on the bar top which is covered in a high-pressure laminate making it a durable and easy to clean surface.
Reed, Rattan and Bamboo are all naturally resistant to moisture and rot, making this an ideal piece of furniture for outdoor settings such as terraces and pool-side areas. We recently spotted a similar bar used at a reception desk at a lakeshore restaurant (last two photos) and we could also see this working well in a spa environment!
