Magnificent Victorian Carved Oak Front and Back Bar

A superb late 19th-century carved oak front and back bar of impressive scale and craftsmanship. Richly detailed throughout, this exceptional piece embodies the grandeur of the Victorian era with its deep relief carvings, architectural proportions, and finely polished oak patina.
Expertly restored using antique timber where possible, the piece retains its authentic period character while presenting in excellent structural and visual condition.
The back bar features an elaborately carved pediment with scrolling acanthus foliage above a trio of arched mirrors supported by turned and barley twist columns. Additional mirrored panels and intricately carved side pilasters enhance the visual depth and symmetry.
The front bar is equally striking, with bold panelled fronts adorned with classical figural caryatids and ornate foliate carvings. A moulded top provides ample serving space, while the overall design showcases the superb quality of Victorian joinery and decorative artistry.
