Wonderful Regency Antique Painted Linen Press — Early 19th Century A beautifully restored Regency antique painted linen press, circa early 19th century, discovered in Provence and brought to Sussex, where it has been thoughtfully transformed into a truly one-of-a-kind statement piece. This exceptional linen press blends historic charm with contemporary artistic flair, making it the perfect addition to both modern interiors and character-filled period homes. Crafted from solid timber and maintained in excellent condition, this linen press features a practical and elegant layout: – Four sliding internal drawers in the upper cupboard, ideal for linens and textiles – Four deep, spacious lower drawers, offering generous storage – A detachable cornice and upper cabinet, allowing for easy transport and installation Artistically refinished by hand, the exterior has been rag-rolled in layered tones of Annie Sloan Old White, Freda Blue, and Provence Turquoise, creating depth, texture, and a beautifully aged patina reminiscent of French country antiques. The interior is painted in a vibrant turquoise, adding an unexpected pop of colour and charm.
