The Golden Age of the Netherlands spanned for nearly a century finishing towards the end of the 17th century. As prosperity grew, so did the status of many households creating a need for more sophisticated furniture yet functional. The Dutch linen press met this need providing large amounts of storage space to store linens, garments, and other household items.
This same ability to provide ample storage has been utilised in many of today’s home although with a modern twist. It’s not unusual to now see the Dutch linen press used...
