A late 18th Century Folk Art Baroque Scandinavian original painted writing desk secretary. This unique antique storage piece from Sweden features mounted original iron handles as well as original wooden handles inside the top section. The drawers slide effortlessly. With its original patina and paint, this chest is perfect to put a lap top on it and storing keys, papers and personal items in the small drawers, in a office, living room or foyer. This piece could also function in a bedroom for linens and clothes. Being that this piece is three hundred years old we can see this being used formally or informally in a traditional as well as modern home.
