About the Item
This oak secretary is a striking statement piece with panel doors, dramatic bonnet, and traditional lower three large drawers and an additional slender upper drawer.
The entire secretary has been given a professional custom layered blue painted finish which has been gently distressed to reveal the original oak underneath, adding both dimension and character to this bureau. Please examine the photos to appreciate the beauty and texture of the lovely finish.
The middle section, painted a contrasting antique white, is the traditional desk which includes a multitude of petite drawers and storage which are revealed when the desktop is opened on two extending arms.
The upper section has 2 cabinet doors which opens to reveal 2 shelves and 12 drawers. Key functions in upper cabinet door. Key used only as pull for the desktop, lock does not function.
The lower large three drawers and upper slender drawer have two brass pulls on each.
This blue painted secretary is restored, solid/stable and ready to be used. It is built in two sections allowing for easier transportation and installation. Lower back may have been restored/replaced at earlier point in time.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation (see back) are reflective of age/use and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this striking secretary.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
