This elegant and truly exceptional walnut Viennese Biedermeier Secretaire was made in Vienna circa 1825.
The Secretaire is an example of beautiful, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship. Viennese Biedermeier pieces are distinguished by their sophisticated proportions and continue to have a great influence on modern design.
This impressive Biedermeier secretaire has a gorgeous maple mirrored interior gallery with five secret compartment and seven small drawers, lovely emphasizes writing walnut surface and ebonized Doric columns.
The secretaire has a lovely highly figured book-matched walnut veneer accentuated by a deep amber color and 200 years old patina.
The brass hardware and locks are original.
This Viennese Biedermeier piece represents museum quality. These kinds of pieces are very rare and difficult to acquire.
The secretaire will be a great complement to any elegant interior. It does not matter whether it is a classic or modern interior because Biedermeier is simply timeless.

We would like to offer you this truly exquisite, early Biedermeier walnut chest of three drawers and vitrine. The piece was made in Vienna circa 1820-25.
Viennese Biedermeier is distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.
The piece have beautiful highly figured walnut veneer and fine details with lovely light deep amber color and 200 years old patina.
The brass hardware, lock and the key are original. It has the original antique glass with tiny bubbles and irregularities. it's amazing that these glass windows have lasted two centuries.
