Dimensions: H x W x D: 149 x 101 x 52 cm
Description:
Secretary standing on blackened block feet with two doors at the bottom, a writing flap above and a handleless drawer at the top.
Straight top with a slight panel overhang.
The piece of furniture is veneered in cherry, the grain is neatly mirrored and very harmoniously laid. The ebonised elements such as the pillars, key plates and striking strip contrast beautifully with the light-coloured wood. The veneer pattern of the front matches that of the sides.
Opening the writing flap reveals a 78 cm high work surface in front of a tidy interior with six drawers and two large open compartments.
Condition:
Restored and shellac polished condition. Stable and suitable for everyday use.
