An exquisite New England Chippendale Drop Front Secretary Desk, circa 1800. Features a curly maple frame with colonial brass bale hardware. The fall front opens to a writing surface, four drawers, six pigeon holes and a lockable valence door. The valence door opens to reveal an additional drawer and two pigeon holes. The case of the secretary has three hand dovetailed drawers and is supported by bracket feet. When viewed from the top the lid showcases beautiful joinery. A truly exceptional piece that will make a great addition to any space.
