Raised on tall, tapering legs with patinated capitals and brass sabots, the piece features a wide drawer with a finely carved wave-patterned frieze. The upper section includes a central drop-front writing surface adorned with a sculptural carved medallion plaque, flanked by narrow glazed doors with reeded ornamentation.
