About the Item

This elegant secretary desk was designed by Erling Torvits in Denmark in the 1960s. Crafted in beautiful natural walnut veneer, it features Torvits’ signature sculpted “wave” drawer fronts and a compact, highly functional layout. The top section includes small drawers, a lockable compartment, and an open shelf. The writing surface is not hinged but smoothly pulls out to provide a practical workspace. Below are three wide drawers for additional storage. The curved side panels and tapered legs reflect refined mid-century craftsmanship.
