About the Item
Secrétaire à abattant with arched bonnet and a fall front elaborately decorated with brass and copper inlay along with a scarab form drop pull. The arched door drop down to reveal conforming storage and a shallow drawer with a snap closure.
The fall front with tiered concentric arches drawing the viewer to the mirror in the background that is flanked by two pierced galleries, all above three short drawers. The whole raised upon straight block feet.
Dimensions: 25 7/8" W, 64 1/2" H and 17 1/2" D
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age include the lower cabinet doors are locked and that key is not available. There is a key for the upper door and that is included. There is a loss to one of the brass rosettes (on left side), stable age crack to door, sporadic scratches, nicks, fsporadic finish losses and wear consistent with age and use with the Cabinet retaining an extraordinary presentation.
