About the Item
A finely constructed vintage mahogany two part secretary bookcase in a classic Georgian style. The top bookcase with a broken bonnet top with scrolled rosettes over double doors opening to two shelves and two small returns below. The lower case secretary with a drop front opening to cubby holes and shelves with a center door compartment. Fluted supports flank four graduated long drawers switch brass bat wing bales and oval escutcheons. With keys. Two brass side handles. Raised on a carved base with bracket feet.
Dimensions: 88" H x 38 1/2'" W x 22 1/2" D
Condition: Please review the detail photos. Some expected scrapes to the feet and some light acceptable scratches, nicks and rubs to the case mentioned for accuracy as the presentation remains stately and fine.
