About the Item
French Art Deco secretary Sycomore wood, black high-gloss lacquer nickel-plated fittings.
Elegant secretaire made of solid sycamore wood with a high-quality finish.
The secretaire stands on sabre legs with a slight outer curve.
The body has the writing part and 3 drawers underneath, which are framed with a circumferential profile and a round profile rod made of nickel-plated metal.
On the right and left are flanking, beveled columns that taper downwards elegantly to the legs.
On the top plate is a small attachment with a right and left volute.
The interior of the secretaire has a silk matt lacquer finish, which contrasts beautifully with the outer glossy surface.
There is a drawer and 3 small glass compartments, the writing inlay has been relined with Hermes-colored leather.
The coin key is compact and puristic, the drawers are interlocked and have additional grip holes below the handle strip.
The top drawer has a brand stamp from the manufacturer.
The object is refined in its lines and finishing details, the high-quality restoration makes the object a real gem.
There is also a matching chair for the secretary which is offered separately.
The chair is also made of Sycomore, refurbished in high-gloss black lacquer, newly upholstered and covered in Galuchat leather.

Very deep engraving of the glass panels executed in a high-level individual workmanship.
Size of one glass panel: 34 cm x 26 cm + wooden frame 2 cm
The 2 doors are set as if in a frame, the body stands on a pedestal. Therefore, the object appears light-footed despite the solid construction. The front side of the strong wooden feet is decorated by ropes.
The surface was waxed again and has a pleasant soft touch.
The color of the object corresponds to a natural sand tone and combines perfectly with the amber mirror glass.
